Joint Replacement

Get pain-free joints faster, with robotic knee and hip surgery

Millions of us struggle with pain and loss of motion because of joint damage caused by arthritis or other ailments. If other treatments fail to offer relief for your joints, you may wonder if it might be time to replace them. We can help you determine if that is the right next step for you. Or, if you’re already preparing for orthopedic surgery, you probably have a lot of questions.

We have the answers to properly guide you through everything, from recovery to physical therapy.

Preparing for your orthopedic surgery

We are happy to answer any questions you may have about your upcoming orthopedic surgery procedure, your recovery, or your physical therapy. Piedmont Medical Center offers a Joint Class on the first Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m. and the third Thursday of each month at 4 p.m. for those who want to learn more about joint replacement, or ask questions about their scheduled orthopedic surgery. The class provides you with the opportunity to speak with representatives from the orthopedic team about your surgery, recovery and much more.

To register for a Joint Class, call (803) 329-1234 (choose option 2).
