Piedmont Medical Center Partners Up for Maternal-Fetal Medicine

Nov 7, 2017
Rock Hill, SC - August 11, 2016 - Piedmont Medical Center is pleased to launch our new Maternal-Fetal Medicine clinic, made possible through a partnership with Novant Health.

Maternal-fetal medicine provides expecting mothers with an opportunity to talk to a specialist for needed guidance to make decisions about her health and the health of her baby. This branch of medicine focuses on managing health concerns of the mother and fetus prior to, during, and shortly after pregnancy.

On August 19th, the first patients to be seen through this partnership will meet Dr. John R. Allbert, a Novant Health physician, in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine clinic at Piedmont Medical Center. Dr. Allbert attended the University of Texas Medical School and completed his fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is board certified in maternal-fetal medicine and obstetrics and gynecology.

For more information about the partnership between Novant Health and Piedmont Medical Center, or to schedule an interview with Dr. Allbert, please contact Daisy Burroughs via telephone at 803-329-6838 or email at [email protected].
