Piedmont Medical Center Welcomes Dr. Kristine McGruder to Physician’s Network

Rock Hill, SC – Piedmont Medical Center is pleased to welcome Kristine McGruder, MD, MBA to Family Medicine Associates, affiliated with the PMC Physician’s Network, effective February 1, 2016.

Dr. Kristine McGruder, family medicineBoard-certified in family medicine, Dr. McGruder’s philosophy of medicine and life is “Do unto others as you would have done unto you.”

“I approach each patient as if I’m providing care for one of my family members,” says Dr. McGruder. “It excites me to know that I can make a difference in my patient’s health, especially when I educate them on something that they can take with them and use to improve their health.”

McGruder is fluent in Vietnamese and is a self-proclaimed sports fanatic.

She attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. McGruder completed her second year of surgical residency at the St. John Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. Then went on to pursue and complete her family medicine residency at Palmetto Health in Columbia, South Carolina.
