Dan Swade Named as Market Chief Strategy Officer for Piedmont Medical Center and Piedmont Medical Center – Fort Mill

Piedmont Medical Center – Fort Mill Slated to Open in September 2022

Dan-swede-200-x-300ROCK HILL, SC., Piedmont Medical Center recently named Dan Swade as Market Chief Strategy Officer of Piedmont Medical Center and Piedmont Medical Center – Fort Mill, a 100-bed hospital slated to open in September. In this role, he will guide strategic development for both hospitals.

Most recently, he served as assistant vice-president at Atrium Health in Charlotte. Prior to that, he held the role of director of strategic services and manager of planning and development at Atrium. He has worked at several other health systems including Mercy Health Partners in Toledo, Ohio where he served as a senior planning consultant, Catholic Healthcare West in Phoenix, Arizona and Scottsdale Healthcare in Scottsdale, Arizona.

“Dan is the ideal choice for this role,” said Mark Nosacka, Market CEO over both facilities. “He has a proven track record of helping hospitals maximize key service areas, refine care processes and efficiently manage growth.”

Swade holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from the University of Toledo and a Master’s in Public Health from The Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public Health, a joint effort of the University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
