Piedmont Medical Center will celebrate its past, present and future at its first two Healthy Hometown events this spring.

They’re scheduled at:

The Rock Hill Campus Piedmont Medical Center Saturday, April 26 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Fort Mill Springfest Walter Elisha Park Saturday, May 3 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Healthy Hometown features a variety of activities for all ages, including the SafeKids Bike Rodeo with free bike helmets, “Dr. Know,” Teddy Bear First Aid, hand washing lessons, and free preventive screenings.

“What better way for Piedmont to celebrate 25 years of care and caring than to invite the community to Healthy Hometown?” said Charlie Miller, Piedmont president and CEO. “These festivals are our way of encouraging our neighbors to learn more about their health at every age and to take steps to stay healthy.”

Part of the 25th anniversary celebration will be a photo display of Piedmont “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.”  “It’s not enough to merely look at where we’ve been, we want to celebrate where Piedmont is today and all the plans that are underway to continue to reach out into the future,” Miller said.
